When should I start the Grandmapocalypse?

Start it immediately. It doesn’t ruin your game or anything, just makes things funkier and enables wrath cookies and wrinklers. Wrinklers are good, because you can let them idle and then when you kill them they give you twice as much as you would’ve gained.

Wrath Cookies, also known as Red Cookies, appear during the Grandmapocalypse. They are similar to Golden Cookies, but have different outcomes after being clicked. Wrath Cookies count towards the Golden Cookie Clicks total, therefore giving you progress towards the achievements /upgrades involving golden cookies.

Random drops are all upgrades that you have some chances to get when doing what they recquire. All christmas, easter and halloween upgrades are random drops. You can get them when clicking on reindeers for christmas, or cooking on golden cookies/popping wrinklers.

When should I pop a Wrinkler?

Otherwise, just pop them when you need a bank boost to buy more buildings/upgrades, or when you get a cookie storm/cookie chain and your bank is low so you won’t get optimal returns. Or pop them when you’ve decided to start idling, so you can come back to the game later with a new set of wrinklers and a large bank.

Should I click wrath cookies?

Generally, I click on them, but do the ol’ save first and reload after if it was bad enough to warrant it. Wrath cookies have a fairly high probability of starting a cookie chain (around 6% afair). So if you are aiming for any golden cookie achievement (like Leprechaun), it might be worth it.

When a Wrinkler is attached to your cookie, you gain a 5% debuff to your Cookie Per Second, and this stacks as multiple Wrinklers attaches to it (up to a maximum of 10, thus 50% debuff). To remove one, simply click on it (multiple times) and they’ll pop, returning 1.1 times the cookies it leeched.

Note that in the latest version of cookie clicker being 2.031 sometimes wrinklers will spawn or pop up as being invisible. They will still do their effects and can be popped. A wrinkler can be popped, or exploded, by being clicked three consecutive times.
